I can't believe I never went inside. And I didn't get a chance to see a Caravaggio. I spent a month in Malta years ago.

Then that's a good reason to go back :)

I visited it many years ago so thank you for reminding me of it's beauty.

This place looks incredible. The floors! 😍

Yes, the floors are really beautiful! The whole church is so unusual I think it shouldn't be missed when visiting Malta.

Gabi, it’s amazing that you can travel to all of these places and I really appreciate you sharing them. I almost feel like I’m there, but I know being there would be quite the experience.

I could spend days in there…my goodness 🤩

If I ever get that way in my life, I am hiring you as my tour guide, and I will take care of all the expenses 😉

The places you have been and experienced. You are truly blessed my dear 🙏

OMG; sorry, I just saw this comment! I guess I'm lucky to be living in Europe where there are so many historical sites, along with pearls like these. This cathedral is different from anything I'd seen before. Or since. And for the tour guiding part, I'll be happy to serve you :)

Fantastic! I figured you were just thinking about it because you don't really know me that well. But I trust you and I could take care of the expenses and it would be great because I will not travel alone, especially out of my country.

so one day we meet 🎉

It looks like a feast for the eyes! (As an aside, have you watched the series: Ripley? It features Caravaggio so I assume you may have watched simply for those references. If you haven’t, check it out on Netflix. 😃

I actually started watching it, stopped in the first episode and didn't continue, but I plan to, mainly because I love Andrew Scott. And I guess the bad boy Caravaggio fits well 🙂

Yes, it truly 'lives' there 🙂
