Wow, this looks absolutely breathtaking! I wasn’t aware of Plitvice Lakes before, but now it’s definitely on my bucket list. Thank you for the inspiration!
I don't think they are too strict about the visitor number, but I think it's necessary if they want to keep the nature. You're close enough, stop by sometime :)
😍 can you get in the water? Are you allowed to swim in it? in Florida we have a lot of springs and of course the water is a much cooler in the spring, but it's so refreshing but you can absolutely get in people go in and they actually dive into the caves which is not something I'm interested in, but yeah if I'm near the water, I wanna be in it so I was just wondering
oh, I'm seeing now they won't let you swim in the lakes. Will they not let you get in the water at all I mean, not even in the streams or any part of the water- you can only look at it or get in a boat? I was thinking, boats aren't really good for the ecosystem if they can put boats in there why can't people get in?
I know there's places like my niece traveled to Antarctica and they only allow certain many people a year to go because of the ecosystem but I don't know if I'm near water. I've got to get it 😎
No swimming or entering the water :-) Only those boats in certain places. Plitvice is great for hiking, and there are other places nearby where you can swim.
That’s really cool how the water changes colors depending on minerals etc. I wouldn’t have thought about how different your trips can be season to season, beauty in each one.
I think you won't be disappointed during summer, the biggest problems of the summer visits are hot weather (bring hats and water), and more visitors than in spring or autumn.
wow, I would love to be there right now!
I'm sure you'll visit it at least once :)

You’re welcome! :)
Gorgeous! I’m adding this to my list. I’m not sure when I’ll get to Croatia but it’s on my list.
Whenever you decide, I’ll be on your disposal for any tips :)
Saving this one! My grandma's family was from this area Europe & it's a big goal to get there in the next few years.
Wow, glad to hear that :) I hope you will definitely visit this part of Europe!
Wow, absolutely stunning 🤩
Really is! :) Thanks for reading!
This place looks absolutely amazing, and almost unreal! I like that they have visitor limits.

I’ll see…my focus is on France for now. That could change.
Oooo, going onto my Places to Go list for sure!!
You would have thousands of photos from just one day there, I'm sure :-)

Good to know 🙏

Yes, especially when it comes to the outdoors and nature. I guess national parks are always a living change.
So cool!
It truly is magical! We visited in October with the vibrant colours of the leaves.
Glad ti hear you loved it! My favorite month for Plitvice is May, mainly because of the amounts of water in the streams.
I hope to return, May sounds great.
I'm rooting for it :)
Wow, stunning place, and amazing info! I'm looking for a holiday place for my family this coming summer, but I imagine it's maybe better off season...
