Reading this, I felt like I was tagging along, except without the hiking and with considerably more snacks.. I loved “her majesty, olive” because it sounds like the kind of ruler I’d actually pledge allegiance to, assuming she serves martinis. Can’t wait for part two, Gabi!
Thanks for reading and commenting! Yes, olive is her majesty in the Mediterranean, it means food and life. But yes, martinis should be considered a food item because of them 🙂
I like everything off-season. Just give me a boat and if that's not available, just let me near the water. Give me a tent, a fishing pole, a toothbrush and a way to cook it over the fire on the beach and I'll be just fine.
The pictures are amazing and some of those of some of the flowers I had to zoom in one of them looked like it had a face on it. It was almost like the face of a miniature lion or something.
Thank you! I, on the other hand, hate tents and camping, but I love being by any kind of water. I prefer lakes, but the sea is amazing too. Especially the Adriatic.
Yeah, tents wouldn't be my first choice, but if there was nothing else, and I could be somewhere that I wanted to be, i'd take it or build a small shelter and yeah, I prefer a body of water that I can see into when I'm walking into it.
But I do love the ocean, just the ambience of the sand and the the waves and the seagulls etc. When I lived outside Atlanta Georgia I lived up near Gainesville Georgia and they have a beautiful lakes up there.
Ooooo. Fabulous. It’s always so good to visit places on the off season, imo. I’ve never been to Croatia but it’s always been on my list (and my paternal grandmother was of Croatian heritage I believe — maiden name Cuculic). I’m going to note these beautiful islands you are sharing for my future reference when/if we are including Croatia on a future adventure.
Stunning photos!
Thank you! The nature in the photos is stunning! :)
Beautiful! I can’t wait to visit Croatia one day 🤩
You're welcome any time :)
Baš Lijepa Naša 🤍🌞🌊

Off-season is the best! Your photos prove it once again.

Thank you for sharing absolutely gorgeous 😍
The flower - I guess you refer to Passiflora caerulea, we call it The crown of Jesus.

Wow, Croatian genes :-)
When you come, you will probably come back often because you might fall in love with the nature 🙂
Hvar is the best;)
I haven't been to Hvar for sooo long, I definitely have to go again soon.
