I had the opportunity to go to Belgium a number of times during my job as an Erasmus coordinator, and really loved the country, especially Flanders. I like all of your fun facts! I did know most of them, but I imagine most readers won't. I love that type of thing.
I am curious about your motivation to start 3 Substacks at once. I used to keep up 3 blogs, plus a corporate blog that was a professional gig, but I started them consecutively, over several years. (This was back in what I like to call "dinosaur blogging" days.
The quantity - I don' tknow what to tell you :))) My first idea was the FlashFacts publication, because I like short forms, both reading and writing. And I like quizzing, so I like these did-you-know facts. But then again, I like travelling and I wanted to try writing about that too, but that had to be another publication because I wanted to avoid mixed messages towards my subscribers now and in the future. And the profile publication just stayed like that, for anomalies :)
Yes, I was an Erasmus coordinator from 2006 until 2019. I managed a Consortium of 17 French business schools, and also my own school's program. One of the Consortium's study partners was Thomas More University in Geel, and I had the chance to go up there twice, once for their international week and once for a student visit. I also went to several Erasmus conferences in Brussels...also one in Budapest and another in Porto. Some of them were specific to consortia.
How long have you been doing that job? Don't hesitate to DM.
Thank you for the recommendation!
