Who is “Gabrijela from Journey Jots”?
I am primarily an educator, with over 20 years of teaching experience that has shaped my love for sharing knowledge. I love teaching and do it whenever and wherever I can, whether in my classroom or with my friends and family, in different shapes and sizes ☺️
From an early age, I have enjoyed learning about the world and how things work, and I have never stopped asking questions. This thirst for knowledge has never faded, and neither has my love for travel.
I’ve always loved traveling and am blessed I can travel professionally from time to time, along with my regular holiday trips. Exploring new cultures, countries, and hidden corners of the world isn’t just a hobby—it’s how I nourish my soul. In 2019, I started traveling solo, and it completely changed my perspective on the world and myself. Since I am Europe-based, I primarily explore the diverse and rich cultures of this continent.
After several attempts at starting a blog over the years, in July 2024, I started a Medium account where I began sharing my experiences on travel, culture, heritage, and teaching. Since then Substack became my primary newsletter platform and I have to say I enjoy my time here.
