I’m back.
after a break that lasted longer than I wanted...
. . .
Some of you have been here since the beginning of my journey jotting. Some of you probably forgot you even subscribed. Either way — hello again!
I took a longer break than I planned.
Life, work, and, honestly, a little bit of creative exhaustion got in the way. But I kept taking photos and collecting the kind of stories and curious facts that I’m ready to share.
. . .
I’ve been rethinking what I want this newsletter to be and I’ve decided on a format that would be genuinely sustainable for me and, I hope, genuinely enjoyable for you to read. Instead of regular deep (and longer) dives, I’ve decided on something a little lighter and a lot more consistent.
Most weeks, you’ll get a short post, with my own photos, a few cultural curiosities about wherever it was taken and a mini quiz to end on. Once a month, I’ll go longer: a walking route, a neighborhood, a place worth spending a morning in… something like that. That kind of post I always enjoyed writing most, and apparently, the kind you enjoyed reading most too.
I’m starting simple. No grand promises. Just showing up, which is the thing I should have kept doing all along.
If you’re still here, thank you! From the bottom of my heart. See you next week.

Welcome back! Your new format sounds wonderful. I look forward to traveling with you from afar!!
Just keep sharing. It can get hard at times but you never know how it can affect someone. Even if you don’t see a like. Plus writing is often therapeutic !:)
Thanks for your candor.
